Lely Unconference | Connect & Spark your creativity

Together with Lely and GoDare we organised the first Lely Underground UnConference. Around 60 Lely engineers came together to connect with experts and inspirational and entrepreneurial pioneers from inside and outside Lely and also to boost their creativity. The purpose of this UnConference? Marlieke Lingmont, Head of Startup Innovation at Lely, explains: “Stimulating internal innovation is a key component for achieving our mission. There is a wealth of creative talent at Lely! Because when we join forces by sharing knowledge, experiences, challenges and ideas, we can nurture the future.”

Ideation challenge with first year Agri & Food students from Inholland Delft

Every year, the induction day of the first year Agri & Food students from Inholland Delft focuses on cooperation, innovation and impact. Overseen by HortiHeroes, 200 students in multidisciplinary teams tackled a social challenge, namely: “How can we contribute to the health of the students at our university?” The afternoon culminated in innovative business ideas. From affordable textbooks and vertical vegetable gardens in classrooms to an app with healthy, cheap and easy recipes for students.
